Greer Relief Choice Pantry Donation Guidelines

At Greer Relief, we truly appreciate your support for our Choice Pantry!

To make sure we’re providing the best and safest food and items to our community, we have a few simple guidelines for donations. We ask that if you wouldn’t use or consume an item yourself, please dispose of it.

Your thoughtful donations help us ensure that we’re supporting the wellbeing of our neighbors in need, and we couldn’t do it without you!

For your convenience, you can download a PDF of these guidelines here.

Thank you for helping us make a positive impact in the Greer community.

Guidelines for Healthy and Safe Food Donations

Here’s what we can accept at Greer Relief for our Choice Pantry donations:

  • Foods in their original, sealed package with an ingredient label and code date.
  • Fresh produce grown using agricultural practices, that is free of decay and reasonably clean.
  • Foods that have come from a vetted processing plant.

If possible, we encourage you to donate healthier options like foods packed in water, 100% juice, and those with low sodium or no added salt.

These are great choices that align with our goal to promote the health and wellbeing of our neighbors.

We appreciate your understanding and effort to donate responsibly, helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our neighbors in need.
