Caroline Robertson

Executive Director

When you meet Caroline Robertson, the confident aura surrounding her reflects a profound belief that her role as the Executive Director at Greer Relief is a divine calling. Her journey to this position was shaped by early experiences, witnessing her parents serve as house parents at a children’s home, instilling in her a deep sense of purpose for service. This calling led Caroline to join a service sorority in college, and after graduating from Clemson, she found her path to Safe Harbor. However, it was in 2007, when Caroline assumed the helm at Greer Relief, that she truly felt at home – in a space that was warm, welcoming, and filled with boundless opportunities.

Caroline’s commitment to strengthening Greer Relief’s community impact extends beyond her executive role. A graduate of the Francis Marion University Non-Profit Leadership Institute and Leadership Greer Class XXIX, the “Best Class Ever,” she has been recognized for her outstanding contributions. She received the 2012 Greer Police Department Citizen’s Award and both the 2012 & 2019 Sertoma Club of Greer “Service to Mankind Award.” Caroline’s leadership extends to founding and coordinating the Greater Greer Non-Profit Roundtable, serving as the 2019-20 President of the Greer Centennial Lions Club, and completing a four-year term as Marketing Chair of the Blue Ridge Institute.

In addition to these accomplishments, Caroline is actively involved in various boards and organizations, serving on the board of Greater Good Greenville as the past Secretary/Treasurer, Creative Advancement Centers, and the Clemson University Tiger Band Association. She also contributes her leadership to the Session of John Knox Presbyterian Church, USA. As a testament to her impact, Caroline is a recipient of the Key to the City of Greer.
