Meet Daniela, Greer Relief’s new Bilingual Neighbor Advocate specializing in financial assistance. Daniela brings a wealth of experience, passion, and community spirit to her role, and we are excited to have her on board.
Born to Colombian and Dominican parents, Daniela is fluent in both Spanish and English, allowing her to bridge the gap for diverse communities. She moved to South Carolina from Providence, Rhode Island, and has quickly made a positive impact within the local area. A proud graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate, Daniela earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with concentrations in Child Advocacy and Spanish Interpreting and Translation.
Daniela’s dedication to service is evident in her long history of community involvement. From the age of 18, she has been providing free notary public services, demonstrating her commitment to helping others. She is also a Certified Immigration Forms Specialist, further showcasing her dedication to supporting individuals navigating complex legal processes. Additionally, Daniela was a founding member and president of the first and only Latin-based sorority at USC Upstate, Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority, Inc., where she was honored for her outstanding community service and philanthropy efforts.
Since graduating, Daniela has continued to give back by offering free notary public services, assisting individuals as an Immigration Forms Specialist, and volunteering within her local community.
Outside of her professional commitments, Daniela enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors. Daniela embraces every opportunity to enjoy life’s simple pleasures, whether it’s a picnic in the park or discovering new waterfalls.
