Meet Evangelina, a dynamic and passionate addition to the Greer Relief team whose diverse background and wealth of experience reflect her deep commitment to serving the community.
Born in Texas and raised on a farm in New Mexico, Evangelina’s journey has taken her across the country—from California to Arizona—before recently making South Carolina her home. With a bachelor’s degree in communication from Northern Arizona University, Evangelina brings a strong foundation in outreach and community engagement, alongside certifications in interior design, notary services, and CPR.
Her professional experience includes roles as a Licensing Coordinator for an organization, licensing foster homes, and as an Administrative Assistant Senior at an inner-city college, where she honed her skills by working closely with the community. Now, she is eager to apply that expertise to her role at Greer Relief, making a positive impact on those the organization serves.
Beyond her professional life, Evangelina finds joy in her family. She is a proud mother of two and a grandmother to her 11-year-old grandson. An avid DIY enthusiast, she loves painting, thrifting, and nurturing her 28 houseplants, which bring her happiness and peace. Her love for travel has taken her to Mexico, Canada, and Jamaica, with Japan next on her list.
Evangelina’s upbringing in a bilingual household has been a cornerstone of her success, opening many doors throughout her career. A person of deep faith, she is constantly learning and evolving. She plans to pursue a second bachelor’s degree in Theology and learn French as her third language. Evangelina’s curiosity, love of challenges, and adaptability make her a vital part of the Greer Relief mission.
