Meet Robert, a distinguished Navy veteran whose life of service began in the military and has continued through his dedication to the AmeriCorps mission. Robert served nine years in the Navy, where he developed a strong sense of duty and a commitment to helping others. Although he wasn’t sure what path to take after his military service, he knew he wanted to continue serving his community. This led him to complete three terms of service through the AmeriCorps program, where he demonstrated exceptional work ethic, unwavering commitment, and a deep sense of duty—qualities that have made him an outstanding role model to colleagues and the community.
Robert’s passion for service and commitment to serving the community are vital to his role as the Neighbor Advocate at Greer Relief. Throughout his AmeriCorps tenure, he showed integrity, care, and selflessness, leaving a lasting impact on those he served. His dedication led him to a full-time position at Greer Relief, where he continues advocating for and supporting our neighbors.
In his personal time, Robert enjoys quality moments with his family and takes great pride in his role as an uncle to his two nieces, Maiya and Londyn, whom he cherishes deeply.
