Yvonne holds a degree in Human Services from Greenville Technical College and furthered her education by earning a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the City University of New York. Fueled by a deep sense of empathy and equipped with sharp critical thinking abilities, Yvonne assumed the role of Neighbor Advocate. In this position, she became the compassionate force behind equitable case management, offering support and resources to neighbors in need.

The Neighbor Advocate role demanded not only professional expertise but also a high level of ethical integrity when handling confidential and sensitive information. Yvonne’s dedication over four years played a crucial role in fostering community thriving and overcoming challenges for our neighbors.

Building on this success, Yvonne transitioned into the role of Mission Impact Manager, becoming the first to hold this pivotal position. In this capacity, she is showcasing her strategic mindset, attention to detail, and dynamic leadership style. Yvonne has emerged as a thoughtful leader, providing coordination and tactical program leadership to support Greer Relief’s mission of eliminating poverty and helping neighbors overcome barriers to success.

As a Mission Impact Manager, Yvonne serves as a program manager, trouble-shooter, and impact advisor, driving the development, oversight, coordination, and completion of programs and special initiatives. Her role as a key member of leadership ensures that Greer Relief continues to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Yvonne’s dedication to service is deeply rooted, having served in the US Navy as a veteran. This early exposure instilled in her the enduring values of discipline, responsibility, and the profound importance of giving back.
