Lindsey from Speak for Animals is going to share with us the importance of caring for our pets and spaying and neutering. Register here.
As pet lovers we all want the best for our furry family members. It is important to every pet parent that their fur family members are getting everything they need to be happy and healthy pets. In this class we will discuss ways to be the most responsible pet parent you can be by discussing issues that people face every day with their pets.
“Speak for Animals is dedicated to saving the lives of animals by providing low and no-cost spay and neuter programs, advocacy, outreach and education.
Speak for Animals began in 2003 by a small group of people in Greenville, SC who all shared the same passion – to provide a voice for animals. Advocating for compassionate and responsible care and saving lives through low-cost spay/neuter became the core focus and mission of the organization. We began designing low and no-cost spay/neuter programs to directly address specific vulnerable animals causing pet overpopulation problems (pit bulls, feral cats, etc.). We identified a critical need in low-income communities – a lack of transportation and financial resources. We began our Spay-Mania outreach program to meet people where they live and compassionately offer our services. Over the years, our mission has evolved to also include expanding our outreach areas, humane education, and offering veterinary care for animals ‘in a pickle’ through our Pickle Fund.”
