GREER, SC – Greer Relief and Resources Agency announces a new spirit tasting event, Relief on the Rocks, to be held in downtown Greer on Saturday, August 25 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. General admission is $35 and includes unlimited spirit samples, live music, and games. A limited number of designated driver tickets are available for $15. Local participating distilleries include Sugar Tit Moonshine, Red Bordner, Dark Corner Distillery, Copperhead Mountain Distillery and Rock Bottom Distillers. Horns BBQ, The Gravy Train and Pelican’s SnoBalls will be selling items from their menus with 20 percent of proceeds being donated back to Greer Relief. “Greer Relief is excited to bring this unique, signature event to our community and we believe attendees will enjoy a night of spirits, music and fun. Greer Relief relies on events like these to fulfill our mission and without the support of others, we wouldn’t have been able to assist 3,390 neighbors in need last year” said Greer Relief Executive Director, Caroline Robertson. Funds raised through Relief on the Rocks will help achieve Greer Relief’s mission to provide services to eliminate poverty and help neighbors overcome barriers to success.
