Greer Relief Secures Disaster Recovery Grants for Hurricane Helene Victims: How You Can Help
Dear Neighbors,

I hope this email finds you safe in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The destruction and devastation across our community have been overwhelming, but we are heartened by how our neighbors have come together to begin the long road to recovery.
We’re excited to share that Greer Relief has secured several key grants to help support our disaster response and recovery efforts. These funds will allow us to address the most immediate needs of those impacted, providing essential resources like food, hygiene products, baby items, and much-needed financial assistance for rent, utilities, and repairs to homes damaged by the storm.
These grants have come from dedicated partners like Pinnacle Financial Partners, United Bank, Crane Fund for Widows & Children, and more, whose support is enabling us to expand our capacity to help.
With these resources, we aim to serve hundreds of affected families and individuals as they work to recover from the storm’s impact.
However, the need is still great. We continue to assess how we can assist more neighbors as they rebuild, and we remain committed to providing vital assistance where it’s needed most.
How You Can Help:

- Donate: Your financial contributions are vital to keeping our relief efforts going. Donations allow us to provide food, shelter, and essential supplies to those in need. You can make a financial donation securely via our website.
- Volunteer: We seek volunteers to assist with food distribution, donation management, and other relief operations. If you can lend a hand, please visit our Volunteer Page for current opportunities or contact Tom at news@greerrelief.org.
- Donate Supplies: We are currently in need of non-perishable food items, bottled water, hygiene products, and diapers. Donations can be dropped off at the donation ramp in the back of the Indigo Hope Neighborhood Impact Center (113C Berry Ave, Greer). Ring the bell on the Donation Sign and someone will be there to assist you. You can find a list of our most needed items on the Wish List page of our website.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to restore hope and stability in our community. Every donation and volunteer effort makes a difference in ensuring that those most affected by the hurricane can rebuild and regain self-sufficiency.
If you or someone you know needs assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (864) 848-5355.
Please continue to spread the word about our efforts and how the community can help in this critical time.

Thank you for your compassion and commitment to our community.
With gratitude,
Caroline Robertson
